Fereshteh Shahhoseini, PhD candidate

Fereshteh graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Shahrood University of Technology in Iran in 2009 and two years later she was obtaining an Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Mazandaran, Iran, focused on the characterization of polymer blends.

After working in the industry sector for four years as an inspector in the field of automotive chemicals, Fereshteh joined the Bottaro` group in January 2017, to continue her studies in analytical chemistry. In her current project, she develops molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
