Evan Langille

Evan Langille, originally from Billtown, NS completed his BScH in Chemistry at Bishop’s University in Shebrooke, Quebec. His honours thesis was developing a method for the measurement of malondialdehyde (MDA) in the plasma of wild chipmunks as part of a collaboration between Dr. Patrick Bergeron (Dept of Biology) and Dr. Alex Drouin (Dept of Chem). Evan joined the Bottaro group in Spring of 2018. His thesis is looking at novel extraction devices and interfaces for analysis of compounds of biological interest by mass spectrometry. Evan brings technical expertise in instrument maintenance and repair as well as synthetic organic skills for the preparation of novel templates.
